We are very excited about this coffee! So much complexity with notes of sprite and ruby red grapefruit.
The name “Adado” comes from the local tribe, located in the village of Shara within the district of Guanga, in the Yirgacheffe region. Usually coffees in Ethiopia are traceable to the washing station level. Smallholder farmers deliver their cherries by weight to receive payment at a market rate. These smallholder farmers typically own less than ½ hectare of land or a little as ⅛ hectare on average. All the smallholder farmer’s coffee is then sorted and processed together. This area of the Yirgacheffe region is well known for producing high quality citrus and floral flavors in the cup.
