It’s back! The highly anticipated dry process coffee from Kayon Mountain Farm has landed and we are stocked. Last year this coffee was one of our highest scoring dry process coffees we possibly have ever had. This year's fresh crop lives up to our expectations.

This well known 500 hectare coffee farm, owned and operated by Ismael Hassen Aredo and his family, produces some incredible coffees. We had the pleasure of purchasing the washed process version of this coffee this year as well. Both this natural and the washed coffee showcases the hard work put into this coffee by Ismael and his staff of 25 permanent full-time employees and the 300 or so seasonal workers.

Kayon Mountain Farm has a nursery on-site and utilizes shade to protect the coffee as well as for creating compost to fertilize naturally. Natural coffees are picked, rinsed and sorted, and moved to the drying beds. Drying can take between 12-20 days depending on the weather. A lot of meticulous work goes into producing this coffee to create this high quality, complex coffee.
